    Does Customer Engagement Behaviour Develop New Customer Base in Indonesia? Evidence from An Eco-Friendly Global Fashion Brand

    Green product is known as one of the efforts to minimize waste during the production process while maximizing the products made at the same time to meet environmentally friendly requirements. Eco-friendly means related to products, processed products, and raw materials that are not harmful to humans, the earth and the surrounding environment. The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of Zara's official fan-page follow towards social media connectedness, fan-page engagement, social media connectedness, and purchase intention of eco-friendly fashion products among young customers in Indonesia.This research is a quantitative study. Source of data used are primary data, which were collected via a survey to young customers who have bought Zara's eco-friendly collection of products in the last three months. The analytical method used was multiple linear regression. The findings show that fan-page follow has positive effects on media connectedness, fan-page engagement, social media connectedness, and purchase intention. Also, social media connectedness has positive effect on purchase intention. Results of this research confirm that customer engagement behaviour which developed through official social media account can effectively form new base of customer for the company.     Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menguji pengaruh kepemimpinan stratejik, kewirausahaan, budaya organisasi, dan reputasi organisasi terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Penelitian dilakukan di PT. Trafoindo Prima Perkasa di Jakarta yang terdiri dari empat pabrik dengan sampel sebanyak 105 karyawan level menengah keatas. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan uji statistik deskriptif dan metode penelitian menggunakan program SmartPLS 2.0. Hasil dari analisis adalah kewirausahaan, dan budaya organisasi mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap reputasi organisasi dan kinerja perusahaan. Hasil lainnya adalah kepemimpinan stratejik berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap reputasi organisasi dan reputasi organisasi mempunyai pengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja perusahaan.     Enhancing Millennial Employees’ Job Performance in Indonesia Through HRM, Responsible Leadership and Employee Well-Being

    As number of millennial employees grows and soon will dominate global workforces, managers have been uncertain about how to manage millennial employees due to their distinctive values and aspirations. In relation to the circumstance, whilst employees’ job performance has been investigated in many studies, there have been limited studies on this subject among the millennials. In order to bridge the research gap, the present study intends to investigate factors that give influence to the job performance of millennial employees. Data in this research were obtained from a survey to millennial employees in Indonesia. Results of this study proved that factors of motivation, training, responsible leadership, and employee well-being bring positive influences on job performance. Moreover, the factor of employee well-being mediates the influences of motivation, training, and responsible leadership on job performance. This study contributes in providing additional evidences on the characteristics of millennials in the workplace, wherein managers should take into account when they expect high job performance from the millennials.     The Influence of Entrepreneurship, Organizational Culture, and Organizational Reputation on Company Performance in Trafoindo Prima Perkasa in Jakarta

    This research was conducted to examine the influence of strategic leadership, entrepreneurship, organizational culture, and organizational reputation on company performance. The research was conducted at PT. Trafoindo Prima Perkasa in Jakarta which consists of four factories with a sample of 105 middle and upper level employees. The data used were analyzed by descriptive statistical tests and research methods using the SmartPLS 2.0 program. The results of the analysis are strategic leadership, entrepreneurship, and organizational culture has a significant influence on the organizational reputation and firm performance. Another result is that strategic leadership has no significant effect on the reputation organization and the reputation organization has no significant effect on the firm performance.     Revisiting the Neighborhood Effects on Disadvantaged Households in Indonesia

    The latest statistics of 2022 record 9,57 percent of the Indonesian population living in poverty. As most of the study in this field merely focuses on the internal factors of poverty, this study contributes to providing more perspectives for poverty alleviation by revisiting spatial linkages on poor households’ income in East Java, the second most populated province in the economy. This study employs spatial econometrics analysis in a three-step procedure: (i) designing spatial weight matrix within nearest districts, (ii) doing Moran's I Test to identify spatial effects on the variables, lastly (iii) doing LM Test to find best regression model. Estimates on the SUSENAS 2017 database show that both Ordinary Least Square (OLS) and General Nesting Spatial (GNS) models provide similar results. Nonetheless, when compared with Akaike’s Information Criterion (AIC) model, the GNS model provides better accuracy. This means accommodating spatial effect is imperative. This study also finds a positive spillover of poor households’ income within neighboring districts. This implies the existence of multiplier effects in a household’s economic activities that later might form clusters of poverty. These suggest that the Sustainable Livelihood Approach interventions in the province should take into account differences in social institutions and other socio-cultural characteristics

    Rethinking Post-Pandemic Labor Policies: Insights from Precarious Workers in Indonesia

    The current study aims at finding evidence of the impacts of economic shocks on the labor markets in Indonesia. Based on the findings, the study would like to revisit the feasibility of the current labor markets policy in the country that is currently moving towards labor market flexibility. To study the topic, this study used a dataset from the 2021 Inter-Regional Input-Output Table for East Java Province, Indonesia. In the analysis, econometric techniques were employed to: (i) identify vulnerable economic sectors to the economic shocks of the COVID-19 pandemic, (ii) determine the economic losses resulting from the reduction of outputs, and (iii) determine the impacts on the labor markets that resulted from the reduction in the final demand of the economic sectors. The findings of this study reveal that the sectors that had been most affected by the economic shocks are those that make a significant contribution to the gross domestic product and are heavily dependent on labor. Upon simulating the impacts of economic shocks on the labor markets, the labor-intensive service sectors are the most impacted and succeeded by labor-intensive manufacturing sectors and capital-intensive sectors. Hence, in opposition to the current labor markets policy, the findings suggest policymakers to adopt appropriate labor market policies that promote decent work while sustaining economic growth
